Honors Choir Christmas Concert

Concert is Free.

     Middle School Singers will meet for the first nine weeks of school.  These students will learn songs to sing at community events and for their concert in October.

     Middle School Singers is open to any 7th or 8th grader that would like to participate.  There are no auditions.  Students who are interested must sign up in the spring for the following year. 

     Honors Choir will begin the second Monday in September.  This choir will meet Mondays after school for one hour all year long. 

     Honors Choir will prepare Patriotic, Christmas, and Spring Music for concerts and community events.  The choir will be present at recruiting concerts at all the elementary school in the spring. 

     The second, third, and fourth nine weeks will be general music classes.  Students in these classes will learn the basics in music and apply that to creating a stomp.  Students will also learn to play various musical instruments. Students will learn about music from various time periods and also from various U.S. cities.

     Each Friday, students will participate in an activity that complements what has been learned throughout the week.
